Here are some links to recent and future exhibitions about film work by Stanley Kubrick. These exhibitions include references to the film "2001 Space Odyssey" in which my uncle Roy Carnon is reported as having made
a significant contribution as one of the sketch artists. Please visit if convenient.
If you have visited any of these exhibition please tell me your comments so I might add them here. Email me at

Roy Carnon, my uncle, worked on many technical design drawings, sketches and storyboards associated with the film "2001 Space Odyssey". Stanley Kubrick
was at the Planetarium in London and was asking around for someone who could do inventive drawings of spacecraft. He was introduced to Roy Carnon in the foyer.
Roy offered to design a space station and produced the iconic dual "wheel" space station, featured in film 2001 Space Odyssey.
Roy is reported to have contributed to other films by Stanley Kubrick but I don't have any details.
